Meadow is a magical place to attend school.  Not only do we hold high academic standards for our students, we also focus on strong character development.  Meadow is a two-time Distinguished School, AND two-time Blue Ribbon School.  Our API score is consistently high, this year a 897, and when compared to other high ranking schools like us, we rank in the top 10%!  We are dedicated to providing an outstanding elementary experience for all of our students.  Our teachers love it here, and our turnover rate is very low.  Teachers tend to join us and stay for many years, which is one reason we can offer a consistently strong program year after year.

Great attendance is the first step in helping children become good students. You play a vital role by helping your child attend school every day possible. When your child is absent for any reason, please call the office before 8:30 AM every day of the absence period. If you have not called the office to excuse absences, your child must bring a written excuse when they return, explaining their absence. The only excused absences the state allows are illness, health care appointments, or bereavement. Any other absence is unexcused except as noted below under Independent Study. Any student with three unexcused absences or three tardies is considered a truant. Our computer program will generate attendance sheets that will be sent home if your child misses 5 or more days of school. Our school loses money when students are absent.
