2004-2005 Scholarship Notice

 

 

 

Each year the Waugh School District Parent-Teacher Association awards one non-renewable $500.00 scholarship to a graduating senior who has attended two full years and has graduated from our elementary school district.

 

The applicant must be a high school senior who after graduation will be attending a junior college, college, university, trade school or business school.

 

The scholarship applications are judged and the scholarship is awarded based on the following criteria with no one category outweighing any other:

 

Ø      Overall community and school involvement

Ø      Scholastic achievements

Ø      Other achievements and awards

Ø      Future educational goals

 

Complete a Waugh School District PTA scholarship application available from your counselor and mail to:

Applications are due by April 15, 2005.

The scholarship recipient will be notified on or before May 31, 2005.
